The Philanthropy Workshop Founded in 1995, The Philanthropy Workshop (TPW) is a donor training and leadership development program for philanthropists who wish to bring their giving to a more strategic level, emphasizing root cause problem solving, global giving, and impact. To that end, TPW brings together a small group (maximum of 12-15) for four weeklong modules which combine issues seminars, skills building sessions, extensive site visits, retreats, and networking opportunities. TPW also offers an alumni association for ongoing learning and networking through reunions and funders collaboratives. TPW has been replicated through the following programs: TPW/Argentina, TPW/West (in Silicon Valley), Philanthropic Leadership in the Americas (for Latin Americans and US-based Latinos), and TPW/Canada.
