Camran Nezhat Continued 1

Dr. Nezhat has been performing and teaching surgery at Stanford University Medical Center since 1993. Over the years more than 10,000 surgeons have attended his post graduate courses, seminars and teaching sessions. He has co authored 3 text books and over 500 scientific articles, book chapters, abstracts, editorials, etc.

He is Fellowship Director, Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery and the past president of the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, former member of the board of Stanford University Medical Center, former Deputy Chief of the Department of OBGYN and Clinical Professor of Surgery and OB/GYN Stanford University.

He has received numerous awards from leading medical societies like the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, American Society of Reproductive Medicine, American College of OB/GYN and American College of Surgeons commending his surgical skills, pioneering surgical techniques, research and educational activities.

Dr. Nezhat is co-founder of the PARSA Community Foundation and is active in various charities (i.e. Child Family Health International) and has traveled to many underdeveloped communities and countries to teach and perform surgery.
