Giving circles

A giving circle is a pooled fund, through which members work together to help the community evaluate projects. Members of the giving circle benefit from learning together about the needs facing the community, a deeper level of involvement with nonprofit grantees, a better sense of the social return on their investment in non-profit organizations, networking and socializing with peers who share similar values and concerns, and hands-on grantmaking experiences.

Giving circle funds are invested by a professional fund management team to leverage the return on members’ charitable investment.
