Nasser K. Manesh
Nasser Manesh joined PARSA to focus on philanthropy projects after eighteen years of building software systems. Through PARSA Nasser is applying his entrepreneurship, project and product management, and social media experience to strategic philanthropy and social change.
Prior to PARSA Nasser co-founded three startups: Fotomoto, a decentralized photo commerce solution, Frucall, a mobile comparison shopping service featured in Good Morning America and New York Times, and Millenigence, a provider of IP Telephony application solutions to enterprises.
Nasser has been in charge of various large scale projects including the web application infrastructure for Penske Truck Leasing, a multi-billion dollar GE Capital company, as well as several ISPs and ISVs.
Nasser received his software engineering degree from Sharif University in Tehran, Iran. When not working on PARSA projects Nasser can be found studying cosmology and quantum physics, playing the setar, walking in the nature, watching movies, reflecting on eastern philosophies, and learning about visual arts from his wife who is a photographer and a painter.
