The Foundation initiates a wide range of programmes intended to provide a forum to facilitate not only the study of Iran’s culture both among students and the wider academic community but also to present all aspects of Persian culture (ancient and modern) to the public at large. By forging ties with most of the major museums and universities in the world that have an interest in Persian culture and history, the Foundation has succeeded in bringing the highest level of expertise to its programmes, and when it comes to projects related to Persian culture the Foundation is now considered the partner of choice by many of these institutions.
The Foundation’s mission is to increase awareness about, promote and preserve the history, languages and cultures of Iran. The objectives of the Foundation are pursued by means of organising and supporting research, publication, and diverse activities of cultural or scholarly merit in a variety of related fields, on a worldwide basis. The Foundation has organised and supported projects and programmes in numerous countries including Armenia, Austria, Canada, Estonia, France, Germany, Iran, Iraq, Italy, the Netherlands, Russia, Spain, Tajikistan, the United Kingdom and the United States. | |
