The mission of the Iranian Cultural and Educational Society (ICCES) is to strengthen & empower the Iranian-American youth in the San Francisco/Bay Area communities, as well as, to teach the Farsi language and the Persian culture to youth of all ages. In particular, ICCES strives to:
· Raise awareness of the Persian culture among Iranian youth through out the San Francisco/Bay Area;
· Promote Farsi language and Persian culture within the Iranian-American youth , with a specific focus on the younger generation in Alameda and Contra Cost Counties; and
· Connect Iranian-American youth across a variety of counties in the Bay Area.
2. What opportunity, need or problem does your request address?
ICCES aims to build a community among Iranian-American youth of all ages in the Bay Area to promote Persian culture and create a forum where youth can come together to collaborate and display their work for the community through various events. | |
