The Student Alliance for Health Advocacy and Research (SAHAR) in an international student-run network dedicated to promoting scientific, educational and cultural exchange between North American, Middle Eastern and Central Asian (emphasizing US and Iranian) university students interested in health care and public service.
Every year we organize a group of US students to travel to Iran to participate in health research and civic volunteer activities in Iran. Institutions we have had collaborations with are Masih Daneshvari, which is the research hospital affiliated with Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences, Atieh Hospital, Khaneye Khorshid Women's Center for Drug Rehab in Tehran, and Atieh Clinic for Drug Rehabilitation in Mashhad. | |
