1.Philanthropic Organisation for Development Cooperation (PHODEC) is a conservation and development non-governmental organization recognized under the law governing non-profit making and non-political associations in Cameroon. It was founded on the 24th April 1999 but became legally approved in the year 2004 by the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Decentralization via Prefectoral Order No: G39/014/5/1026 as a non-governmental organization in Cameroon. 2. Mission: To expand the quality of life, socio-economic opportunities in order to enhance self reliance 3. Goal Goal: To empower the local people through education training and the extension work for the alleviation of poverty 4. Organizational Structural The General assembly (supreme organ) Board of Directors (Directing Organ) of seven members Coordination (Executing Organ) Five Departments (Arts and Culture, Sustainable Agriculture, Natural Resources Management, Community Health Education Administration and Finance) with Team Leaders Local Populations (individuals, local groups, Common Initiative Groups etc) 5.
