Founded in 1994, Mehrgan Foundation is a non-political, non-sectarian, organization dedicated to promoting Iranian heritage. Mehrgan Foundation was established as a non-profit organization 501 (C) (3) in state of California. It originally started by having monthly gatherings and then as the Persian community grew, so did the domain of Mehrgan’s activities. Now Mehrgan’s objective is to promote awareness, tolerance, peace and cultural integrity. In accordance with these values, Mehrgan’s Mission is as follows:
To facilitate education and presentation of Iranian literature, art and cultural heritage
To facilitate & promote Seminars on social issues, history, and economics
To provide an open forum for dialogue amongst scholars and the community
Promote Iranian culture. | |
